Case 02 Dr Matthew Stenmark:: cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma with perineural invasion: ASTRO 2017

Sunday, September 24, 2017, 4:45 p.m. - 6:15 p.m. eContouring for Head and Neck Course II: Matthew Stenmark, MD, Sue Yom, MD, Suresh Mukherji, MD, MBA, FACR

Homework:
The CTV for the postoperative bed (CTV_61) has been defined for you based on clinical examination and discussion with the Moh’s surgeon. The axial MR has been fused. Unfortunately, the e-contouring software does not allow for the coronal MR data set to be registered, so representative slices can be found below.

Assuming a 33 fraction treatment regimen, please use the treatment planning CT to define:

Define additional clinical target volumes, including the supra-orbital nerve foramen where gross disease was left behind as well as additional at risk regions based on the above MRI. Select your CTVs from the following dose levels. You may use as many or as few as you see appropriate.

CTV_69.96 Gy (2.12 Gy/fx)
CTV_66 Gy (2.0 Gy/fx)
CTV_61 Gy (1.85 Gy/fx)
CTV_59.4 Gy (1.8 Gy/fx)
CTV_56.1 Gy (1.7 Gy/fx)

Organs at risk
Contour as many or as few as you see appropriate on slices: 38, 39, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 52, 54, 56, 58, 62, 66
(homework not engaged in UI)
